Based on the novel by Antonio Di Benedetto written in 1956, on Don Diego de Zama, a Spanish officer of the seventeenth century settled in Asunción, who awaits his transfer to Buenos Aires.

This feature film was the first to be mastered in HDR projection with the technology of EclairColor. It made Filmmore the first independent post production facility in the Benelux to serve HDR color grading for cinema.
