De Vuurlinie (Line of Fire)

On a mission in Afghanistan, Marco (Waldemar Torenstra) strongly leads his men through firefights. For this he receives the highest decoration in the Netherlands: the Military William Order. In the following years, however, he becomes discredited and the soldier struggles with traumas that he cannot share even with his love Mirjam. In the media and on the street, everyone has an opinion about him. Marco ends up in an emotional rollercoaster. As he tries to prove himself right, he may face his toughest mission yet.
