In the road movie Triq Salama, Najib Amhali’s directorial debut, Nadia Messaoudi travels with her entire family in her father’s disintegrating van to a wedding in Morocco. Hoping to introduce her fiancé to her parents, Nadia tries to strengthen her bond with her distant mother during the journey.
